BTS Japanese 4th album, ‘MOTS 7 The Journey’ is No1 for 5 consecutive days on Oricon chart
BTS is showing off its overwhelming record power in Japan.
According to the latest chart released by Japan's Oricon Chart on July 19, BTS's fourth full-length Japanese album 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 ~ THE JOURNEY ~' sold 11,661 copies, accumulating 555,270 copies.
As a result, the album topped the Oricon Daily Album Chart for five consecutive days from the 15th, the release date, showing the explosive popularity of BTS in Japan.
BTS has been breaking the record since its first day of release with 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 ~ THE JOURNEY ~'. The first day of all albums released in Japan this year, and the first day of all foreign artist albums, reached the highest level.
Immediately after its release (as of 8 a.m. on the 16th), it ranked No. 1 on iTunes 'Top Albums' charts in 81 countries and regions around the world and No. 56 on the British 'Official Albums Charts' and recorded the highest performance among BTS's Japanese albums.
