BTS’ 4th Full Japanese album is at 1st place for 2 days in a row and has reached 500 000 albums sold on the Oricon Daily Chart

Boy group BTS topped the Oricon chart for the second day in a row.

According to the latest chart released by Japan's Oricon Chart on the 16th, BTS's fourth full-length Japanese album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 ~ THE JOURNEY~" topped the Oricon Daily Album Chart for two consecutive days following its first day of release.

The day after its release, the album sold 54,975 copies, adding 447,869 copies on the first day to a total of 502,844 copies, surpassing the cumulative sales of 500,000 copies in the shortest period of time among BTS's regular albums in Japan.

Earlier, with 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 ~ THE JOURNEY ~', BTS set a record for the first day of all foreign artist albums and the first day of all albums released in Japan this year.


In addition, they once again proved their status as a global artist by topping iTunes 'Top Albums' charts in 81 countries and regions around the world, including Japan, the United States, Canada, Britain, Germany and India. The track "Your Eyes Tell" topped iTunes' "Top Song" charts in 93 countries and regions, including Japan, the United States and Britain.

"MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 ~ THE JOURNEY ~" released on the 15th contains 13 Japanese songs, including the title track "Stay Gold," which was pre-released in June, "Your Eyes Tell," which Jungkook participated in composing, and "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," the title song of "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," which ranked fourth on Billboard U.S.
