Jin's solo song "Moon," a member of the group BTS, has been named one of the top five "Best Boy Group Songs of All Time" by the U.S. music magazine Rolling Stone.

Rolling Stone selected and released 75 Greatest Boy Band Songs of All Time in an article on the 24th.

Jackson 5's "I Want You Back," released in 1969, took the top spot, followed by N Sync's "Bye, Bye, Bye" (2000), New Edition's "Candy Girl" (1983) and Fourth Backstreet Boys' "It"

And after 20 years, Jin's solo song "Moon," a song from the fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL:7," released this year, took fifth place. "Moon" is a song that has traditionally featured, the love song for fans, in BTS's own color," Rolling Stone said. "In the ecstatic guitar-playing pop, Jin sings that fans are his Earth and that he is the moon that orbits and shines around the Earth."

Immediately after the release, the song topped a total of 93 countries' charts, including the No. 1 spot on the U.S. iTunes chart, and received attention as BTS's 14th career No. 1 song on the iTunes charts (as of July 26).

Jin was also named the fourth Korean solo artist in the global iTunes B-side solo tracks, who has the most number of top titles on global iTunes and the most number of top titles on global iTunes.

In addition to Jin's solo track "Moon," BTS ranked:
19th in the title track of his third repackaged album, "Spring Day," released in February 2017
34th Jungkook's solo song "Euphoria," released in May 2018,
19th in the title track of the third repackaged album "Love Yourself."

"BTS has become the best group in the world in its own way, ignoring all the clichés about how to run the music business," Rolling Stone said. "These K-pop heroes have not compromised their music or ideas to conquer the United States."

"They didn't even try English-only music, which would be half a crossover. With BTS "All they had to be themselves."
