The group BTS set another new record with the music video for the 'MIC Drop' remix.

The number of YouTube views for the "MIC Drop" remix music video released by BTS in November 2017 surpassed 700 million at around 1:46 a.m. on July 21. It is BTS's fifth MV with 700 million views, following "DNA," which has surpassed 1 billion views, "Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)" with 800 million views, and "FAKE LOVE" and "IDOL" with 700 million views, respectively, and they hold the record for a Korean singer with the most MVs with 700 million views.

The "MIC Drop" remix is a remix of world-renowned DJ Steve Aoki's "MIC Drop," a track from LOVE YOURSELF 承 "Her" released in September 2017. Immediately after the announcement, it entered No. 28 on the U.S. Billboard's main single chart "Hot 100," proving its worldwide popularity by topping the chart for 10 consecutive weeks.

The music video, starring BTS and Steve Aoki, offers a variety of attractions with its unique and intense sound plus BTS's colorful performance and sensuous and refined visual beauty. Especially in the second half of the video, the scene of dropping the microphone drew much attention.
