Producer Bang Si-hyuk is working on a hip-hop group.

Bang Si-hyuk announced on the 2nd that he will hold an audition to recruit new members of the hip-hop crew " BTS" with the aim of making his debut next year.

The audition will be held under the title "HIT IT" along with portal site Daum. It will be held in a rap battle with members who are currently practicing with BTS to challenge their own rap.

The two members, who have already been selected as members of the "Bulletproof Boy Scouts," are Kim Nam-joon, 17, and Chung Heon-chul, 19. Bang Si-hyuk's side said, "High school rappers are recognized for their skills in the Underground Hip-Hop community," adding, "They are excellent at rap making and are as good as professionals."

Bang Si-hyuk's audition "Hit It" will be held online preliminaries through Daum TV for a month in September, and offline preliminaries will be held in Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju and Seoul from the 18th.

Participants will make their own rap videos on a given hip-hop track and have an online rap battle with the two members.
